The abbreviation NPO means Non-Profit Organization.
In contrast of what many people think, a NPO does not receive resources from the Government, either local or federal. The resources are obtained through activities organized for the proper entity and voluntary actions.
What is NPO Koryunet?
It`s a Organization belonging the sector of social assistance, that gives assistance to the resident foreigners in Japan, offering varied informations and services through the site and activities realized in the Japanese territory.
Formed by Japanese and Brazilian volunteers, it was finished the process to get the qualification of NPO. Since August 10th of 2004, it became an organization officialized for the Japanese government.
Objective
The NPO Koryunet has as main objective, to fortify the affective bows and to promote a bigger cultural interchange and integration between the nations. For this, we will realize a series of actions that will help in the foreigners adaptation in Japan, at the same time we contribute so that the Japanese people can understand better the other cultures. Below, the main goals.
I. Providing, through the site http://www.koryunet.org/, a bigger access to the information, to diminish the discrimination. It will be being organized in diverse languages.
II. Spreading out educative and cultural activities, to stimulate and to promote the international interchange through the lectures and other events to improve the social integration.
III. Studying, searching and divulging the causes of the problems of the resident foreigners and the possible solutions aiming the awareness of all.
IV. Searching solutions for the education of the resident foreign children in the country.
V. Stimulating the partnership and the local dialogue between the entities and organizations that aim the same social intentions.
VI. Realizing vocational courses, recycling activities, program of insurance, and others, being that the gotten income is reverted for accomplishment of the mentioned activities above.
Registration of volunteers and collaborators
We are searching voluntary staff and collaborator, that has interested in our activities and want to contribute to improve this society. Through the site, we are realizing register of people whom desire to be voluntary, for eventual events, organized from the proper organization or from other entities and/or groups.
People without much time for voluntary activities, but want to collaborate, sending commentaries, telling some event, offering tips of his quarter or information that can be useful to somebody in the other side of the country (or the world), etc, are welcome. A small contribution is always a great aid!
This registtration is free and the registered person (volunteer or collaborator) will be able to participate in the site, changing ideas or giving opinion (FORUM), offering tips, informations and mounting its proper space (BLOG).
Also we search financial collaborators, either legal physicist or, whom desire to support this project.
The gotten income, will be used to keep the organization and to promote events or new projects.
